Equity tokenization with clear investor rights and operating workflows.
Build the technology for equity issuance, shareholder records, transfers and corporate actions. Coretos delivers digital securities platforms and integrations for company issuers and businesses serving multiple issuers. We connect the instrument's rights with the systems and processes needed to administer them.
Define what the token represents
The label “tokenized stock” is not a complete description of an investor's rights. A project needs to explain the issuer, the underlying instrument, the record of ownership and the role of any intermediary.
We use those requirements to design the investor experience and operating workflows. The project documentation establishes the rights; the platform makes the agreed information, processes and restrictions accessible to the relevant users.
| Structure to examine | Questions for the platform scope |
|---|---|
| Issuer-sponsored representation of shares | How are holders recorded, which records are authoritative, and how are transfers and corporate actions processed? |
| Indirect or contractual exposure | Which entity owes the obligation, what rights are passed through, and which records must be reconciled? |
| Synthetic price exposure | What is the actual instrument and counterparty, and how is its distinction from share ownership explained? |
These are categories for project assessment, not interchangeable products or a legal classification of a particular offering.
Private company and public equity workflows
A private company project may focus on investor onboarding, allocation, shareholder approvals and ongoing communication. A project involving public equities can introduce additional relationships with registrars, custody providers, intermediaries and market infrastructure.
Coretos designs the required interfaces and operational controls around the actual arrangement. Issuance, conversion, transfer and trading access are specified as distinct processes where the model requires them.
Keep ownership records consistent
The platform needs a clear relationship between investor identities, accounts, token balances and the relevant ownership record.
We define identifiers, permissions and reconciliation across those records. Transfer requests follow the agreed checks and approvals, with a visible outcome and a process for resolving incomplete or inconsistent information.
Recovery or administrative transfer functions are assessed against the instrument, contract design and authority of the responsible parties.
Voting, dividends and corporate actions
Corporate actions need coordinated data, dates and instructions across the participating systems.
| Event | Workflow to design |
|---|---|
| Dividend or distribution | Identify entitled holders, apply approved information, issue instructions and reconcile completion. |
| Voting event | Establish eligibility, distribute the relevant material, collect instructions and retain records. |
| Share split or other adjustment | Define affected records, calculation rules, approvals and reconciliation after the event. |
| Transfer requiring approval | Check the applicable conditions, route the decision and update records after completion. |
Illustrative workflow: an issuer announces a distribution; the responsible provider establishes entitled holdings at the applicable date; approved payment instructions are processed; completed payments and unresolved items are reconciled with investor records.
Coretos builds the application and integration work required for the agreed division of responsibilities.
Plan market connectivity separately
A platform can be designed for secondary transfer or trading workflows, with the required custody, eligibility and settlement integrations.
Coretos assesses the interfaces and operator arrangements for the intended connection. Instrument admission, participant access and market operation are defined alongside the technical scope.

Questions about equity tokenization
Does a token automatically provide voting or dividend rights?
The rights depend on the instrument and structure. The platform is designed to support the rights actually established for holders.
Can we retain our registrar or custody provider?
We assess their interfaces and responsibilities and define the required reconciliation and operating processes.
Can you build a platform for several issuers?
Yes. We can design issuer-specific records, permissions and configurations alongside shared platform services.
Tell us about the company or instrument, the intended investors and any providers already involved. We will help define the issuance, shareholder-service and technology scope.
